Library Noticeboard

You may have seen news recently about a range of coloured sand products being recalled after testing positive for asbestos.
We want to reassure everyone that Magic Sand has not been used in any QLDC Libraries. If you have Magic Sand at home, please take a moment to read the advice from QLDC.
Check our opening hours over Christmas and New Years.
And remember - Queenstown Lakes Libraries are fine free. If you can't return or renew your books over the holidays, please get in touch with us to let us know.
Sometimes Libby will prompt you to verify your library card. Read our instructions for how to do this.
From 1 January 2026, Queenstown Lakes Library members will have free access to a brand new eResource.
UniversalClass offers over 600 courses in everything from computer skills to candle making.
We'll be updating our website soon with more information on this resource.
