ANZAC Day Closure

All libraries will be closed on Thursday 25 April to observe the ANZAC Day public holiday. We will re-open on Friday 26 April per our usual operating hours.

Kingston Library Hours

Kingston Library's opening hours on Wednesdays have changed to 3-5pm.

Book Mending

If you come across a damaged book, just give us a heads-up at your local library. Our skilled team specializes in book mending, and sometimes, despite good intentions, home repairs can inadvertently worsen the book’s condition. For the best results, please leave the mending task to us.

Password Upgrades

If you have been using a four digit pin or your library card number as your pin/password, we're recommending that you update your pin/password to something more secure.

We recommend you choose a password that is at least eight characters, with a mix of letters, numbers, symbols and punctuation for added security.

You can change your pin/password by clicking "Log In" here and clicking on "Forgot your Password/Pin?".

Digital Spotlight

Bridget Williams Books (BWB) is an award-winning New Zealand publisher featuring small books on big issues, and we have the entire collection available online.

For over three decades, books published by Bridget Williams have contributed to critical scholarship in New Zealand; they have told our stories, and deepened our understanding of what it is to inhabit these islands.
